Adventures in Digital Double Exposure

Ah, my first real blog post! (It took me long enough...)

This is my final project from the Photo II course I took last semester. I created digital double exposures, mimicking the fantastic overlaid images that are created when film is used multiple times. The combination of natural elements and various buildings was intended to create a connection between the natural world around us and the constructs of civilization. Over the slideshow of images, I incorporated two different sound tracks - a mysterious chime that gives way to the sounds of city. The soundtrack reinforces the idea of the piece - that nature is a constant in our world. It thrived before humans walked the earth and it waits to reclaim its dominance.
